The Rev. Joe Gibbes was born and raised in Columbia, SC. He grew up in the Episcopal Church and gave his life to Christ when he was 15. After graduating from Wake Forest University and a brief stint in Colorado as a ski bum, Joe made one of the best decisions of his life and married Amy. They now have three amazing children that have seen to it that Joe has learned to pray daily. Joe graduated from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA and served churches in Charleston, SC and Birmingham, AL before becoming Rector of Church of Our Saviour in December 2015.

Fr. George Hinchliffe is a native Floridian and a cradle Episcopalian. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University and received his Masters of Divinity at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia. He served as Rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (Live Oak) and led St. Luke’s in founding the Shepherd’s Hands of the Suwannee Valley, an all volunteer free mobile medical clinic, serving four North Central Florida counties. Fr. George most recently served as interim Rector at St. Francis in the Field (Ponte Vedra) and has served the Diocese of Florida as budget chairperson, as a member of the Finance Committee, Disciplinary Board, and Mission Committee. He has served as Spiritual Advisor on numerous Cursillo weekends. Prior to attending seminary, Fr. George served Florida’s children and youth for 36 years, in the areas of infant health, child welfare, and juvenile justice. Fr. George and his wife, Mary Ellen, have been married 50 years and have two grown children and five grandchildren. Mary Ellen is a long time member of the Daughters of the King and is looking forward to meeting the Daughters at COOS. Mary Ellen is an avid quilter and seamstress. The Hinchliffe’s enjoy spending time at their cabin in the North Georgia Mountains, but call Mandarin their home. The Hinchliffes enjoy camping, boating, Jeeping, and spending time with family. They share their home with a spoiled Yorkshire Terrier and a well adjusted Golden Retriever.

Beth and her husband Jeff reside in St Johns County and share 5 children together - Ashley (22), Branden (22), Chandler (20), Ava (16), and Annabel (10). A native of Decatur, Alabama, Beth graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

She completed the required coursework for the School for Diaconal Formation in the Diocese of Florida and was ordained a Deacon by the Right Reverend Samuel Johnson Howard on Februray 17, 2022.

In addition to her duties as a deacon, Beth serves as an on-call chaplain for the Baptist Health system and enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, and exploring our beautiful state.

Bob Moore has been a professional church musician for 30 years. In addition to his work leading congregational song, he is a prolific composer with over two hundred published choral and instrumental works which have been recorded on seven CDs and appear in various denominational hymnals. His conducting and performing experience ranges from symphony orchestra to silent film accompaniment. A native of Charleston, SC, he is married to Annette Talbert and is the proud father and step-father to five outstanding adults. 

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Hannah Bardin has been a member of the Diocese of Florida all her life. Hannah grew up and was confirmed here at The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, and is so grateful to be home serving as youth minister. She attended Florida State University where she studied Religious Studies and Education and was involved with the Episcopal University Center at Ruge Hall. She is currently working toward her Master of Arts in Youth Ministry at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas through a distance learning program. When she isn’t leading youth group, you can find Hannah deep in a book, looking for the best cup of coffee in town, or tending to her rapidly expanding plant collection.

Emily Tsunemori (Atkinson) was baptized and raised at Church of Our Saviour.  After moving to Sewanee, TN for her father to attend seminary, she attended various Episcopal churches but has rooted her own family back at COOS.  

Emily graduated from The University of North Florida with a degree in Criminal Justice.   After focusing on social work, she found herself in IT product management for several years.  She is thrilled to be back to working in a place of purpose and ministry, with children and their families to grow a strong community and share the message of Christ’s love.  

Emily currently lives in St Johns County with her husband, Dru, and their three young children who keep them extra active - Beck (2), Dane (1) , and Isla (7).
